How are Speed Post charges calculated?
Speed Post charges depend on the weight of your article and the distance between origin and destination. India Post uses weight slabs (up to 50g, 51–250g, 251–500g, then per additional 500g) and distance zones. 18% GST is added on top of the base tariff.
Is GST included in Speed Post charges?
No. The official tariff is exclusive of tax. 18% GST is added on top of the base postage. This calculator shows both the base rate and the GST so you see the final amount.
What is the minimum Speed Post charge in India?
